The Ministry of Justice has embarked on an investigation of the report based on complaint from the Minister of Finance and Development Planning.
Findings from the investigative report will be forward to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for action.
Details of the alleged financial improprieties at the Minister of Finance and Development Planning will also be made public as the investigation unfolds.
It can be recalled on Thursday, January 19, 2017 that President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, after being briefed by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Boima Kamara of financial improprieties at the Ministry, the President instructed the Ministry of Justice to investigate the alleged financial improprieties at that Ministry.
According to a press release from the Executive Mansion, some officials of the Ministry Finance and Development Planning are said to be linked to the alleged financial improprieties.
The report about the alleged improprieties was brought to the attention of President Sirleaf by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Kamara.
