The Acting Chair of the Cabinet, Justice Minister/Attorney General of Liberia,  Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh, is admonishing public officials  to uphold the highest standards of sincerity, humility, and integrity in service to the nation.

Delivering a special Statement on behalf of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai during the Induction  ceremony of Margibi County’s newly appointed Superintendent, Hon. O. Jay Morris on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Kakata, Margibi County,  Cllr. Tweh emphasized that public service is not a privilege for personal gain, but a solemn responsibility to prioritize the well-being of ordinary citizens.

"Leadership is not about titles or positions; it is about action—serving with integrity, with a genuine desire to uplift the lives of those around us;  It is about putting the interests of the people above personal gain and working diligently to ensure that justice, fairness, and equality become the hallmarks of our every endeavor", Minister Tweh asserted.

"Public service is a sacred trust bestowed upon us by the people;  It must be approached with a genuine desire to uplift lives, not for personal enrichment or status. True leadership lies in serving with humility and integrity, with the people’s welfare placed above all else."

Turning his focus to Superintendent Morris, Cllr. Tweh offered both congratulations and a challenge: to serve with a spirit of selflessness and to bring impactful, visionary leadership to the people of Margibi County and the Country at large.

 He urged Superintendent Morris to set an example for others by remaining grounded, accessible, and committed to addressing the real needs of the citizens.

"Superintendent Morris, your appointment by the President is an opportunity to demonstrate what it means to lead with character;  "Margibi deserves a leader who listens, who acts, and who inspires others through service. I urge you to be that leader—one who leaves behind a legacy of trust, compassion, and progress", the Acting Chair of the Cabinet declared.

The ceremony which was marked by cultural performances and a strong turnout of local and national leaders, symbolized a renewed hope for development in Margibi County.
