The Ministry of Justice extends heartfelt gratitude to all Liberians, especially the youth, for their overwhelming participation in the widely publicized March Against Illicit Drug Trafficking and Abuse.
Held under the theme "Protecting Our Future - Say No to Drugs," the peaceful demonstration drew thousands from across the country, uniting communities in a powerful stand against the growing threat of drug abuse among young people.
The Ministry applauds the collective commitment to a drug-free Liberia and recognizes the role of civic groups, law enforcement, educators, and religious institutions in mobilizing and maintaining a peaceful environment during the march.
"This massive turnout reflects the shared resolve of the Liberian people to protect our youth and secure a safer, healthier future," said Justice Minister/Attorney General, Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh. "Together, we are sending a strong message that drug abuse has no place in our society."
The Ministry reiterates its dedication to strengthening anti-drug laws, enhancing rehabilitation services, and working closely with all stakeholders to safeguard Liberia's future generations.
