Justice Minister attends the dedication of the 14th Judicial Circuit Court Complex and the official August A.D. 2024 Term of Court Opening
On August 12, A. D. 2024, the Minister/Attorney General of the Republic of Liberia, Cllr. Natu Oswald Tweh, Sr., Attended the program marking the dedication of the 14th Judicial Circuit Court, which tied in with the official opening of the August A.D. Term of Court held in Cesto City, Rivercess County.
The program, which was highly graced by His Excellency Joseph N. Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia, and other heads of government agencies, brought hope to the people of Reivercess County in accessing justice.
Chief Justice Her Honor Sie-A-Nyene G. Yuoh thanked President Boakai for his presence at the dedication ceremony. She noted that the Judiciary five (5) years strategic plan will align with the ARREST agenda.
In a special remark at the program, Justice Minister Cllr. Natu Oswald Tweh, Sr., praised the Judicial branch of government for the unwavering support for the access of justice within the country.
Minister Tweh also urged that a secure working environment aids better performance and inspires motivation, such as “ in performing one’s duty or services, the environment in which you work plays a vital role.”
Justice Minister Tweh urged citizens and residents of that county to use the structural opportunity to access justice, and he also assured citizens and residents of fair justice. In so doing, he promises to collaborate with the Judicial System to create an enabling environment for the access of justice for people in need.
He also admonished every citizen to join the effort in working with the government to increase and improve “Access to Justice.”
To create a smooth playing field for justice to prevail, Justice Minister Tweh urges Her Honor, Chief Justice Youh, to solve housing problems faced by judges in various counties, where those same individuals in pursuit of Justice been landlords would have reciprocal manipulation on cases which will not show neutrality and transparency in the fight to access justice.
In conclusion, H.E. President Joseph N. Boakai thanked and assured the Judicial System for his countless support in the access to justice. President Boakia admired and complimented the working and judicial structure of the Judiciary Branch of Government, where his commitment is fully confirmed as the “Rule of Law” is a key pillar and component of the “ARREST” agenda.
