Ministry of Justice shuts down the Lofa Medic services Clinic in Jacob Town; arrests administrator for alleged medical malpractice

The Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the Liberia Medical and Dental Council( LMDC) has arrested the Administrator of the Lofa Medic Services Clinic in Jacob Town, Sam Wolobah for impersonating as a Medical Doctor and Medical Mal-practice resulting to the death of a Liberian citizen.

The Public Safety Division of the Ministry of Justice and the LMDC have with immediate effect shut-down a local heath facility in Jacob Town pending an investigation.

It is alleged that, Sam Wolobah, impersonating as a medical Doctor performed a surgery on a 30-year old man identified as Samuel P. Kollie which led to his death .

Sam Wolobah is currently in the custody of the Liberia National Police undergoing investigation to establish probable cause for prosecution for the alleged crimes.
